Stiles Falls

Stiles Falls is located at Camp Alta Mons in Shawsville. It's a stunning 40-foot waterfall that is the highlight of an easy, 3-mile round-trip hike. Visitors will park at the front of the Camp Alta Mons property and then walk along the gravel road to the trailhead, which is blazed white. There are signs along the road that will direct you to the trail. The approximately 1-mile trail features multiple crossings over Purgatory Creek before you reach Stiles Falls. There are occasional steep inclines and rock hopping along the trail so prepare accordingly with your footwear. Dogs are allowed on this trail, if kept on a leash, and please remember to clean up after them. This trail is open to the public daily, except during times when Camp Alta Mons is hosting summer camps or during severe winter weather.
